Congratulations to all who attended the wonderful CES Fireside on Oct. 29th at the Glenridge building! We had an excellent turnout from our Allatoona Youth! A special thanks goes out to the Young Men and Young Women's organizations for sponsoring our "field trip". As promised, each of you who attended the fireside will receive 2 make up days - to be used for already missed days or to save for the future when you might need them!
So, how will you further your church education after high school? Attending a church school or an institute program are both excellent ways to learn about the gospel after seminary. We have a great program very close to us near Kennesaw State University - it's actually right next to the campus on Chastain. If you want the details, here's the link:

The Ideal Student
The ideal student has a relationship with his Heavenly Father that has been developed through pondering and prayer. He understands the great plan of happiness, who he is, and what he can become. He has a love for the Savior and His gospel. He understands that the Atonement provides him with the opportunity to progress and improve. He is learning to understand the role of the Holy Ghost. He is learning to recognize the feelings and promptings of the Spirit. He feels and recognizes the inspiration of the Spirit as he studies in class and at home. He desires to live worthily so that he can continue to have those feelings. -excerpt from CES Satellite Training Broadcast, Jan 2004 G. Bradly Howell, Assistant Administrator
